Crystal Silver — Essayist. Philosopher. Explorer

Crystal Silver — Essayist. Philosopher. Explorer: "renaissance soul and social entrepreneur with a performing arts background, a lifetime passion for storytelling, and an academic interest in transdisciplinary studies at the intersection of philosophy, technology, and creativity.

I write about personal growth, lifestyle design, conscious commerce, holistic wellness, social change, and deliberate wandering, among other topics. I am interested in cultivating autonomy, vitality, and identity while pursuing authenticity and transparency in all areas of life, work, and play. I also have an exponentially growing passion for leading a minimalist existence.

For as long as I can remember, I have had an enduring fondness for travel literature, particularly narratives that recount inner and outer journeys in tandem. For more reasons than I can recall, these stories keep the spark in my spirit and continue to provide fuel for my greatest passions in life.

Since leaving my home town, I have traveled in 12 countries and 26 states. I have lived in Tucson, Tallahassee, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, respectively, with a few detours back to Iowa sprinkled in for good measure."

TheWritersCafe.org: "real politics behind money is definitely more complex than the average person might even care to admit. One of the easiest ways to make money in an economy that is in a deep recession, is to be able collect interest relatively good interest rates on money that is placed at relatively little risk. Meaning that  what ever vast personal or corporate financial resources that might actually be available to supposedly stimulate a stagnate economy, will genrally be invested only in established enterprises and will not be dedicated to developing new emerging businesses or experimental technologies that possibly could help stem the downward spiral."

Personal Development Chaburas

Personal Development Chaburas: "it’s such a gift to give someone an ability to find out their mission which is what Rabbi Nivin has done and I really feel I have a lot more clarity about my mission in life. It obviously did not happen in the first few weeks, it has been a process and journey and every season it gets a little bit deeper which gives me that little bit more clarity, I am so grateful.

The chaboras have also given us the tools to handle our internal negativity. I’ve just had a very harsh, negative email sent to me and to be calm in the face of angry people and be able to respond from a G-dly place and not a threatened place I don’t think I could have done it without the work we have been doing throughout the chaboras and my one on one work with him."
